1st programming xperience in Amiga E somewhere around '94
then did some first XML-Transforms for generating websites in '97
was totally into FreeBSD during the early 2000s, had to program in language like VisualBasic, Perl and PHP to earn some money while studying.
For my bachelors thesis I hacked low level exception handling code implementations and optimizations into a SSA based Java compiler.
For my master thesis I did a lot of C Code to write embedded code for the PIC MCU (debugging in PIC Assembler to get wireless stacks working)
In my PhD I was totally intrigued by models, abstract machines and formal schemas, hacking stuff XML Transforms (again), exploring EMOF , doing weird stuff to JVM bytecode (again).
Now I do random stuff whenever I have time...
