asp.net-core Middleware Using the ExceptionHandler middleware to send custom JSON error to Client

Define your class that will represent your custom error.
public class ErrorDto
{
public int Code { get; set; }
public string Message { get; set; }

return JsonConvert.SerializeObject(this);
}
}
Then put next ExceptionHandler middleware to Configure method. Pay attention that middleware order is important.
