$ shopt -u nullglob
$ shopt -u failglob
$ shopt -u dotglob
$ shopt -u nocaseglob
$ shopt -u extglob
$ shopt -u globstar
Setting the option nocaseglob will match the glob in a case insensitive
manner
$ echo M*
M*
$ shopt -s nocaseglob
$ echo M*
macy
