ngMessages
is used to enhanced the style for displaying validation messages in the view.
Before ngMessages
, we normally display the validation messages using Angular pre-defined directives ng-class
.This approach was litter and a repetitive
task.
Now, by using ngMessages
we can create our own custom messages.
Html :
<form name="ngMessagesDemo">
<input name="firstname" type="text" ng-model="firstname" required>
<div ng-messages="ngMessagesDemo.firstname.$error">
<div ng-message="required">Firstname is required.</div>
</div>
</form>

<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular.js/1.3.16/angular-messages.min.js"></script>
JS :
var app = angular.module('app', ['ngMessages']);
app.controller('mainCtrl', function ($scope) {
$scope.firstname = "Rohit";
});
