Example
get_dtype_counts method can be used to see a breakdown of dtypes.
In [1]: df = pd.DataFrame({'A': [1, 2, 3], 'B': [1.0, 2.0, 3.0], 'C': ['a', 'b', 'c'],
'D': [True, False, True]})
In [2]: df.get_dtype_counts()
Out[2]:
bool 1
float64 1
int64 1
object 1
dtype: int64
